Well, if not we're here to shower you in stardust with this exact truth!
Everyday, every breath, every touch YOU have the ability to serve as a healer for your own lived experience.
In support with the elements, great spirit, AND crystal mana we are gifted with an abundance of different tools to further our own AND humanity's healing.
So... How are your crystal companions supporting you?
Well for starters, we believe crystals to be very high vibrational earth elements that your spirit can attune to. Always knowing that one must match these high vibrations and open yourself to interact with their energy. This divine discipline is essential in order to assist you in your awakening process. But ultimately those who are responsible for your healing and evolution is only Y - O - U.
We reference crystals as companions simply because they won’t contribute their magic if you own the responsibility for yourself. Crystals can be great teachers and support systems but at the end of the day, they don’t work deeply if you don’t do your part.
So what’s our suggestion?
- Don’t rely on external sources for your deep healing
- Consider crystals as your friends, your brothers, and sisters that can hold your hands through your healing path.
- Give them respect but own and respect your personal power too!
- Work together with them instead of expecting results from simply owning crystals.
Walk the healing path along with your healing tools knowing that the healing comes from within.
We hope this entry arrived to you all in Divine Timing. As always we wish you happy healing!

So often people ask us to point out what crystals they "need", and every so often, we may be able to tap into your inuitive guidance system and point you in the right direction. However, this blog post is dedicated to inviting our Crystal 'Ohana to listen to the right Crystals Calling YOU.
Tuning into your body and tapping into your higher self will never lead you astray. We have spaces in each of our shops to stop, breathe, and check into what crystals are calling you.
Co-founder, Emi shares, "I invite all of our customers to trust the guidance of their gut and/or solar plexus. Our team can always think of a specific crystal to share deeper insight on, but ultimately humanity has their own answer within."
All humans connect to crystals differently. It's important to know that what we read about crystals is always someone else’s perceptions about them. What you read on our website is our own perception about them. Of quartz, some information within the collective understanding are conclusive guidance made from our collective perception... but know that this doesn’t mean it’s the ultimate truth for everyone. I strongly suggest you to create your own.
We invite you to lovingly receive the information you come across within crystal based knowledge should be received only as a reference point. The next time you're divinely guided to embrace a new crystal companion, pay close attention to your personal pull and impact from communing with it's energy.
Emi shares a personal reference to serve as an example on her unique relationship to a Crystal Fan Favorite, "I use natural Himalayan Citrine for cramps, it’s not written anywhere. One day I started having cramps and I looked at a beautiful citrine tumble I had and thought it could help me, I automatically tape it to my lower belly, and wow! It helped so much! I found out citrine supported me with pain and lower chakras unbalance in a way I would have known if I didn't trust my intuitive guidance with this powerful companion!"
All in all, we extend a loving reminder to experiment & sit with your crystal companions, let them talk to you, create your own rituals and see what you receive out of this very unique relationship. No need to condition our practices by blindly following what others say about them, we are all gifted with our unique resonance with the divine.
We’d love to hear your experiences!
As always, sending you all of our ALOHA.
]]>Mindfulness practices are becoming an integral part of a human’s maintenance on overall well-being. Testimonies and reports are continually emerging to support the idea that internal negativity may be associated with physical and psychological pain.
However, what could happen if we allocated positive intention not only towards self, but towards everything that surrounds our external environment? The positive intention studies of one researcher in particular, Dr. Masaru Emoto, and his team utilized music, sounds, affirmations, and verbal messages to measure the impact that this energy had on images of crystals within frozen water. (video experiment here). Photographs were taken of “beautiful crystal” images from the water that received positive intention opposed to the photos taken that endured heavy metal music and appeared to be disfigured and broken.
Dr. Emoto attributed the importance of these experiments simply due to the fact that humans are made up of 70% water. He was a believer in the impact of positive intention shifting the trajectory of one’s experience.
In a more recent study Dr. Emoto and his team asked a group of participants to offer prayers of gratitude dedicated to a container of water some 5,000 miles away. The results reinforced the idea that “water treated with pleasant intentions” results in “more pleasing crystal shapes” than water that did not receive this treatment (Radin et al., 2006).
More and more we are reminded of the invaluable resource that is “ka wai ola!” Our bodies are 70% water, and our bodies utilize it in many ways. We use it to regulate our body temperature; lubricate joints, tendons, and muscles; dissolve minerals and other nutrients so they may be transported throughout the body, along with oxygen, to our cells; carry waste products, toxins, and gasses from our cells to our lungs, kidneys, liver, and skin for removal from the body; moisten tissues of our eyes, lips, mouth, and digestive system; and remove waste products from our digestive tract. We drink water, we clean ourselves and our environment with it, and we even breathe small amounts of it as vapor in the air.
Human life is dependent on water.
We invite you, our Crystal 'Ohana, to embark on reconnecting to YOUR sacred waters within. Setting not only positive intention for self but positive prayer and gratitude towards life itself!
Whether that means starting your days in prayer, in nature, journaling, letting out all the tears, or in some cases setting sacred intention through the waters you intake.
Of QUARTZ, we had to make space for Lemuria Crystal Water Bottles for our 'Ohana!
These divine water bottles can not only charge the water you intake daily, but you can customize the elements you put inside of the bottle itself! Each bottle will come with a pack of either Amethyst, Tigers Eye, Rose Quartz, or Lapis Lazuli crystal chips, but you're not limited to just that!
For example, some of our team members have added rose petals, small Lemurian quartz points, & other dried herbs to their bottles! Our intention on creating these bottles was to enhance an everyday task like drinking water into an intentional, activating, & sacred practice!
Our crystal water bottles are a great outlet to set the stage for you and your waters to further your sacred connection. Inviting the energy from the crystals to become in sync with your water is a powerful way to code that energy into your daily life.
Eia ka wai la, he wai e ola
Here is the water, the water of life

Sandalwood has been used for thousands of years, this herb is known for helping to bring people closer to the Divine. This fragrant plant has been widely venerated and used for spiritual purposes in places such as India, Tibet, Egypt, and China. Sandalwood can relax the body, encouraging one to be in the present moment.
Myrrh Gum can be used ritualistically for purification, cleansing, and banishing negative entities and energies. It may also be soothing to the nervous system and may assist in relieving pain.
Sage is a Native American tradition and should be treated as a sacred, spiritual ritual. Sage can neutralize the energy of a space, person, or crystal. It may promote healing and the dispelling of all negative energies. Smudging can purify the air and is a spiritual tool known for enhancing intuition and the letting go of emotions that no longer serve.
Copal, a tree resin was revered by indigenous peoples, such as the Mayans and Aztecs, of Central and South America. There are Native American tribes that still use copal today in sweat lodge ceremonies, and in Guatemala, it is burned to bless and sanctify holy items. Copal was burned and inhaled ceremonially in rituals to purify space, induce trance, and promote connection to the Divine, the spirit realm, and the ancestors.
Frankincense, which is a resin from the Boswellia tree, has been used as an incense and for perfumes since ancient times. Today, frankincense is also utilized in the form of essential oils and is believed to help with inflammation, may help improve blood pressure, may help strengthen the immune system, may help with pain relief, may help with arthritis, and may be beneficial for one’s health in many more ways. This frankincense is sourced from India.
We invite you to broaden your understanding of cleansing modalities, while honoring each with utmost honor. Keeping in mind, this information is purely metaphysical in nature and is by no means medical, as well as, all products come within packaging and with labels that are 100% compostable!
]]>In honor of Celebrating Divine Motherhood this month we invite you to connect deeper to the energetic essence of Motherhood through nature and a few of her companions she has to offer us that can support Queen Mamas!
When it comes to crystal companions, Moonstone & Ruby are the first that come to mind! Moonstone can be a great tool to offer healing & empowering energy to the sacred body of the Feminine. As well as ushering in “new beginnings'', Moonstone is a stone of inner growth and strength. This kind of assistance can calm emotional instability and stress, through stabilizing the emotions, providing calmness. Like Moonstone, Ruby may offer Unconditional Love that can feel like the love of a powerful Mother while lighting the fire within to motivate us to keep going! This potent reminder of the fire that runs through the belly & womb space of the Feminine is shown through the Ruby's soft yet powerful ruby red presence.
All in all, connecting with the lands that nourish you, the earth that supports you, and the mother figures that hold you are what we are setting forth this month. The Divine Feminine essence is on a beautiful rise and we are ALL rising with her!
E Ola!
]]>"Giving back to nature helps to provide a deeper understanding and knowledge between ourselves and Mother Earth, with this connection we can heal internally as well as externally as a collective." - Bronson
Mother Earth has many names and faces. Some call her Mother Earth, Pachamama, Gaia, Papa (Native Hawaiian), Akna (Mayan), Papatūānuku (Maori), the list is infinite. The underlying belief is that Earth is a life-giving and nurturing motherly entity. She crosses many traditions, not confined to any one tradition, yet many cultures recognize that all life support here on earth starts with her and her gifts.
"Our physical bodies are made up of her elements, and she sustains and supports us through the air that we breathe, the water that we drink, the food that we eat, and quite literally, the earth/ground that we walk upon. By giving back to Earth Mother via ho’okupu, (offering) we are acknowledging, nurturing, honoring, and strengthening the sacred connection that we all, as Children of the Earth, inherently have." - Neewen
We believe that in order to maintain the Universal Law of Exchange, we as humans (children of the Earth) should allocate the same sacred energy Mother Earth grants us on a daily basis.
"I give back to the Earth to show gratitude for all she has given me. The Earth is my mother, & I am happy to reciprocate all the love and abundance she has given me through my energy, service, and offerings." - Lisa
Our intention this month is to invite our online 'Ohana to gift an Offering of Gratitude to our beloved planet the next time you stop and embrace all she offers us. Whether it is a crystal, prayer, chant, dance, or even a conscious & collective breath! This reciprocal exchange of energy will perpetuate her healing journey the same way she supports ours.
"It is important to give back to earth because just as much as we are a part of earth, the earth is part of us. Giving love and gratitude to her helps us take one step closer to reaching our highest potential for ourselves, the earth, and everyone else." - Zoe
With the utmost love we invite you to ponder and explore these sacred perceptions and messages.

Rhodochrosite is a stone that can integrate physical and spiritual energies, stimulating love and passion while energising the soul. Rhodochrosite is said to open the heart, lifting depression and encouraging a positive and cheerful outlook. When we hold, wear, channel Rhodochrosite it may stand as a soft reminder to lean into our love, self worth, and soothe emotional stress.
The next time you find yourself in a downward spiral we invite you to inhale the frequency of this incredible stone & exhale all that is not serving you. A great practice can be to place a Rhodochrosite whale or potent slab on your heart space and receive this frequency directly. May Rhodochrosite always stand as a reminder to choose love, to lean into love, and to consciously invite love into all moments.

What happens within your body when you hear the phrase, “inner work?” If you’re anything like us, a spike of energy may rush through you. Don’t worry, it’s normal. The westernized perception of “inner work” has been misconstrued to be a very scary, daunting pursuit. Rest assured, the Diamond Face Lemurian crystal is here to help!
This crystal is all about pursuing inner work, the diamond face mirror is said to provide a reflection of the self. Inviting the receiver access of our true essence and providing the space to understand who we actually are.
Some may say this Lemurian is a commitment to self healing. Soul sister Jazmin shares, “when I took the time to actually sit down and hone in on the vibration of the diamond face lemurian it felt like time slowed down. I was invited to become aware of what I had been housing within me that I did not want to face prior.” Oftentimes, the Diamond Face Lemurian is seen as a great companion when moving through the minutiae of life because these crystals can spark surges of joy and help us remember to stay in constant pursuit of taking care of ourselves.
We encourage those who are keepers of the diamond face lemurian to build a relationship with this crystal as if it were a friend that is in constant support of mirroring you. Spend time in meditation, journaling, or even verbally expressing what it is you want to face with it. These practices will allow you to fully integrate with this new companion and pursue your inner work with joy!
With the utmost love we invite you to ponder and explore these sacred perceptions and messages.

]]>Some lesser known facts about our Moon:
If there were no artificial light women would menstruate during the New Moon and ovulate during the Full Moon. In astrology the Moon rules over things like women, goddesses, cycles, femininity, and emotions. It takes the Moon about 28 days to orbit and stays in each of the 12 signs of the zodiac for about 2-2.5 days. The Moon controls the tides; therefore the ebb and flow of our lives. Each phase illuminating something different for us to focus on.
The New Moon is the start of a new cycle. It represents a clean slate. A new beginning. It is during this phase that we set our intentions and begin to manifest. This is the time to reconnect with the divine and tune into our higher selves for guidance. What seeds do you want to plant and what ideas do you want to grow?
Imagine sitting down to write out your intentions. We've all done it before; even if it's just once a year on January 1st. We feel energized and excited to set goals. Ready for a new year, a new us. We make commitments to ourselves and then by February or March that gung-ho attitude is nowhere to be found and we find ourselves sitting on the couch re-watching episodes of The Office thinking "I will get to (insert intention here) tomorrow"...
Lucky for us, we have a New Moon every month. Wouldn't it make more sense to set intentions for 30 days based on the phases of the Moon than once a year on January 1st? Not to mention, as a woman, our body goes through a very similar cycle each month. It might not be synced with the moon phases, but it is a cycle that we are in tune with.
Since the Moon rules over goddesses, it only makes sense for women to gather together during the time of the New Moon. Because when women come together m a g i c happens. Are you still wondering why all of our periods sync when we hang out with the same group of women? That's where our power lies. Our womb. Our connection to the divine. Where we have the potential to create l i f e. We are energetic beings and when we gather to support and connect with one another, our power grows. Our webs intertwine and our intentions and ideas flourish.
Here is an excerpt from my first moon circle...
"I was talking with a group of women I had just met for a yoga retreat. It was a cool October evening at Folly Beach and I could feel the energy swarming around the house like honey bees. Everyone was excited to be there and eager to begin. We were all anxiously awaiting whatever magic was to come that weekend. Evening fell into night and we made our way into a New Moon Sister Circle to set our intentions for the retreat and also to get to know each other. In the center of all of us there was a table filled with flowers, tarot cards, sage, candles, and crystals. The circle immediately calmed our honey bee vibes into a slow, intuitive energy. We listened to each other with the intent to understand and we let all of those emotions we constantly bury way deep, deep down flow. We were there for each other. No judgement, no competition. Our stories, no matter how different, were all intertwined. Engaging with these women empowered me. They made me feel like I could do anything, be anything. They made me feel worthy, respected, important. It felt like magic. "
"A circle of women with a mission, can save the world" -Beth Bornstein Dunnington
The first new moon of 2020 is on January 26. I encourage you all to take time that day to go over the intentions you set for 2020. Turn inward, meditate, and get clear about the things you want to manifest into your life. Get together with friends, create a sacred place, and talk about your dreams with each other. Speak your words into existence. There are all kinds of tools you can use to help you, including crystals! Another great tool for new moon rituals is journaling. Getting cozy with a hot cup of tea, your crystals, and a journal is a great way to get everything out of your head and onto paper so you can better envision the cycle ahead.
At Lemuria, we created a kit designed specifically for New Moon Rituals:
Sage bundle: Prepare for the New Moon by cleansing your space, self, and crystals to get centered and grounded.
Selenite: Let selenite clarify your mind so you can set clear intentions for the moon cycle.
Moonstone: This stone is perfect for the new moon because it represents new beginnings and connecting with the Divine Feminie.
Clear quartz: An amplifier! Clear quartz amplifies intentions to help you gear up to turn your manifestations into reality.
Labradorite: A stone of magic and curiosity. If you are skeptical about manifesting, let this stone wash away your doubts and let it help you invite the magic of the moon into your life.
You should carry these stones with you throughout the moon cycle to remind you of the seeds you’ve planted. Let the stones be a constant reminder to keep you focused on your monthly goals. If your head gets fuzzy during the month with the million things on your to-do list, pull out the sage and selenite. If you get discouraged that things aren’t going your way, hold the labradorite and moonstone and let the beautiful flashes of color remind you of the magic that is all around you. If you get tired, throw the clear quartz in your pocket for an energy boost. And if things don’t work out exactly how you wanted them to this month, guess what? You can start all over with the next moon cycle! The moon has phases, just like us. Sometimes our darkest moments lead us to our biggest breakthroughs.
Just keep ebbin and flowin with the tides and you’ll be just fine.
Crystals - of quartz I use them!
Big, small, smooth, jagged. All different shapes and sizes. Different colors and properties. I've been growing my collection for over a year and when I tell people that I have crystals or that there is currently a crystal in my pocket, some of them look at me like I am crazy (maybe I am). Other people think they're interesting and beautiful. To each their own, ya know.
]]>Big, small, smooth, jagged.
Crystals, rocks, gemstones. They're made of minerals from the Earth. The living, breathing, energetic Earth. They've been growing for millions of years and, just like humans and plants are full of powerful energies, they are too. They all have different metaphysical properties and can be used in all kinds of ways. Pretty cool, huh?
People have literally been using crystals for thousands of years. Lapis Lazuli was used in ancient Egypt in burial ceremonies. Ancient Greeks rubbed crushed Hematite on themselves before battle to become "invincible", and Jade is precious in Chinese culture. I mean, just take a look at your jewelry or class ring. I bet you have some kind of crystal or birthstone in your collection. My birthstone happens to be Amethyst, and as a Pisces, Amethyst is used for intuition and spirituality -- it brings out those Pisces qualities, just as yours will bring out your zodiac sign's qualities. The majority of married women wear a diamond on their finger, which is the hardest most durable gemstone. It symbolizes commitment and that marriage is forever. Crystals are everywhere and all have meaning behind them!
But you don't just have to wear them as jewelry, you can keep tumbled stones in your pocket to help you through the day with challenges you may face, or you can use crystals around your home. An example would be keeping black tourmaline by your front door to keep out negative energy or shungite by your TV to help with all of those electromagnetic frequencies when binge watching Netflix. When I went on a month long road trip, I kept malachite in the car because it's a powerful protection stone. When I arrived in Hawaii and started interviewing for jobs, I kept a blue kyanite with me to help keep my throat chakra open so I didn't accidentally stumble over my words.
You can also use crystals during rituals. They can help open blockages in your chakras when used during meditation or energy healing. They can also be a powerful tool for manifesting intentions. You just have to "program" your crystal with a certain intention. A great time to do this is during a New Moon ritual or at the beginning of a yoga class. Then, anytime you see it, touch it, or use it during a meditation or class, that intention is being manifested through your thoughts and the crystal's energy.
One of the best ways that crystals are being used for is self-care. If you haven't seen a jade or rose quartz facial roller, you must be living under a rock . You roll the crystal across your face for a lymphatic massage that helps release toxins making your complexion look like you don't live off of 5 hours of sleep and a gallon of coffee a day. Seriously, Ladies. I cannot stress this enough. Self-care rituals are the most important thing you can do for you and your health. In a time of women empowerment and GRL PWR, we need to be at our best. So light a candle, grab a rose quartz, and soak in the tub to de-stress because you’re a queen.
You can literally use crystals in every aspect of your life from home decor to spiritual healing and I've made a list of my top 5 favorite crystals (at the moment) that help me on a daily basis.
So, are you intrigued? of quartz you are! (lol, too much?) Now I bet you're wondering where you can find some of your own...
You have come to the right place! Lemuria has an amazing selection of crystals to choose from. Walking into a crystal shop can sometimes feel overwhelming. I always encourage people starting their crystal journey to walk in with the intention of finding exactly what they need. Coming in with a list and game plan is fine, but more often than not, the crystals will call to you. When someone is having difficulties choosing a crystal, I always tell them to let their intuition guide them. If that task seems daunting, walk in and go straight for the desert rose selenite. Hold it by your heart and clear your head of any expectations. Desert rose connects your crown chakra to your heart chakra so you can get out of your chatty mind and choose crystals from your heart.
Anything else you need to know before you run Lemuria?
Just one last thing... Most crystals, with the exception of a few, need to be cleansed fairly often depending on how you're using them. There are many ways to do this but a really easy way is to smudge them with sage or leave them outside during the Full Moon. You can wake up the next morning and bring your cleansed and charged crystals inside all ready to go!
So, do crystals have metaphysical properties that can help heal and cleanse your life? I believe you get out what you put in. Believing that something beautiful created by the Earth can help you heal is all up to you. Healing plants grow from the same Earth where crystals are formed, and yet, no one gives you a crazy look when you rub an aloe plant all over your sunburned body. Crystals can be powerful tangible and visual tools to manifest intentions to help you live your best life. If I were you, I wouldn't take them for granite!
